The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region Tuesday awarded $577,600 in new grants to 45 non-profit community agencies.
...Medical Centers
PATHS Community Medical Centers provide comprehensive primary health care to those local to the Dan River Region.
Experienced physicians and other medical professionals are on staff to offer the highest quality care possible.
Dental Center
PATHS Community Dental Center provides dental care to those local to the Dan River Region.
The links between oral health and overall health are well publicized.
In following its mission, PATHS wants to make sure that everyone who needs access to dental care gets it – regardless of their ability to pay.
Pharmacy
PATHS Community Pharmacy provides pharmacy services to PATHS patients, as well as Free Clinic patients.
MEDAssist
Southside Virginia MEDAssist provides assistance to those in the Dan River Region who do not have prescription insurance coverage in accessing the most advanced in medication therapies.
Many of the physician practices in the area participate.
CHAAP
The Community HIV/AIDS Assistance Program (CHAAP) provides assistance to those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Services include financial support to help with access to medical services.
