Piedmont Access To Health Services, Inc. (PATHS) is pleased to announce a grant award to the Boydton Dental Center from the Virginia Health Care Foundation (VHCF) in the amount of $80,000.

This amount is in addition to a previous grant award in 2013 from VHCF that provided the support necessary to open the Dental Center in August, 2013. PATHS’ Dental Center in Boydton, lead by Dr. David Eason, is a comprehensive care facility that provides complete dental services to the south central region of Virginia.  All patients are welcome, including both the insured and uninsured.  Special payment options and sliding fee scales are available to those who qualify.

The Virginia Health Care Foundation makes a difference in the lives of countless Virginians every day.  A public/private partnership, VHCF helps uninsured Virginians and those who live in underserved communities receive medical, dental and mental health care. VHCF support helps free clinics, community health centers and others to expand both the types of care offered and the number of patients cared for each year. In the past year, the dental center was able to provide over 4,200 procedures valued at $320,000. Without the support from VHCF, this would not have been possible.

PATHS’ Dental Center in Boydton is open Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm. Patients are seen by appointments, and may schedule an appointment by calling (434) 738-6420.
