PATHS Announces the Relocation and New Identity for Martinsville Office

Piedmont Access To Health Services, Inc. (“PATHS”) is proud to announce that the office it operates in Martinsville, formerly known as the Health Center of the Piedmont – Martinsville has relocated to 287 Commonwealth Blvd., Martinsville, VA, and will be known as PATHS’ Community Medical Center. The new facility will more than double the office’s square footage, which will accommodate PATHS plans for immediate growth. The new identity will help bring awareness to all that PATHS offers in a cohesive and easily-recognizable way.

During this bitter cold weather it is difficult to see patients come into our centers in flimsy sweaters or jackets...  Or to pass someone on the street and know they have to be cold in their meager clothes...  Many of us have coats, scarf’s and gloves that we no longer wear and can be put to good use.

PATHS to Relocate & Expand Community Dental Clinic

The Face of the Uninsured

A major focus of the current health care debate has been how to help the uninsured. The uninsured are often locked out of access to even the most basic of health care services, simply because they cannot afford care. But just who are these uninsured? There is often a perception in the community that these folks are the down and out, the homeless, and those people who live on the fringe of our society and who just do not care, free-loaders if you will. This could not be further from the truth.

PATHS' Announces Opening of Community Dental Clinic

Piedmont Access to Health Services, Inc. (PATHS) announces the opening of a long awaited community dental clinic. The staff of PATHS Community Dental Clinic will begin training on Monday, January 4th at the facility located in Danville Community College’s new Foundation Hall. Funded in part with a grant from the Danville Regional Foundation in the amount of $358,000 and a partnership with Danville Community College, PATHS’ dream of providing access to dental care to the area’s most needy is coming to fruition.
