I have insurance, so I can't be seen at PATHS, can I?
This couldn't be further from the truth!  PATHS is currently accepting new patients at all sites and accepts all forms of insurance - including Medicare and Medicaid.  Sliding Fee Scales and other special programs are dependent on the revenues generated from providing care to patients with insurance.

What is the difference between PATHS and the Free Clinic?
PATHS services are not free.  Special payment options (sliding fee scales, etc.) are available for those who qualify, but all patients will be required to pay a nominal fee (at minimum) or according to their health insurance's copay/deductible.  For a more detailed description, click here to visit a special section we put together.

How do I become a patient?

Do I have to have an appointment to be seen by a medical provider or dentist?
All of our offices are available to schedule appointments at times that are convenient for you. 

How do I contact my provider after hours?
Just call the office.  Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

What are Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)?
Federally Qualified Health Centers are local, non-profit, community-owned health care providers serving members of the community regardless of ability to pay. These centers are the family doctor and health care home to 1 out of 8 uninsured Americans. FQHCs receive federal grants to help defray operating costs.
