Job Description:

Summary

The Pharmacy Courier is the face of the pharmacy outside of our walls.  The courier is responsible for delivering medications and collecting payments for pharmacy customers.

Education and/or experience

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Assist customers by answering simple questions or referring them to the pharmacist for all medication information.
    • Process orders for home delivery, including calling to verify that the patient will be available to accept order and relaying price of medication(s). 
    • Utilize pharmacy software to process and complete deliveries.
    • Maintain accurate accounting of monies received for deliveries and reconcile monies with pharmacy software reports daily.
    • Safely operate a motor vehicle and monitor for basic maintenance needs.
