Piedmont Access To Health Services, Inc. (“PATHS”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Asma Afzal who is returning to the team to serve the residents of the Dan River Region.

Dr. Afzal graduated from Punjab Medical College in Faisalabad, Pakistan before relocating to the US to complete her residency at New York State University. She began working at PATHS in 2004, leaving briefly in 2007to explore other career options.  PATHS is excited to have her back providing quality health care to all of their patients.

Dr. Afzal is immediately taking new patients, and will begin helping to build PATHS’ Health Center of the Piedmont – Martinsville.  She is looking forward to eventually working
full-time from PATHS’ Health Center of the Piedmont – Chatham.
