Patients and community leaders came to Boydton on Monday to celebrate the opening of the new PATHS medical clinic and the return of Dr. Susan Hundley to the practice of medicine in Mecklenburg County.

Government-funded community health centers, which serve low-income and uninsured patients, provide better care than do private practices, a researcher at the Stanfod University School of Medicine has found.

PATHS Community Medical Center was scheduled to begin seeing patients on July 2nd. However due to unforeseen set- backs, the center now plans on opening to see their first patients, on Friday, July 20th.
