PURPOSE

Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks at PATHS’ sites.  This includes minor carpentry, electrical, heating, plumbing, and ventilation and air conditioning to ensure an environment that is safe for patients, staff and customers. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:               High School diploma or GED

Other:           

  • Experience with facility management;
  • Familiar with OSHA safety requirements;
  • Must be able to lift/push at least 75 lbs, climb, crouch, kneel, and bend at waist
  • Basic computer knowledge;
  • Must be ok with working flexible hours
  • Demonstrates excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Diplomacy, tact and a positive approach to problem solving.
  • Organizational skills and confidentiality are a must.

DUTIES

  • Maintain grounds and parking areas at all PATHS’ facilities, including mowing, mulching, weeding, blowing and snow removal.
  • Minor repairs as required at all facilities.
  • Paint, remodel, touch-up areas as needed.
  • Replace light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed.
  • On call maintenance, 24/7 for all sites.
  • Set up table and chairs as needed for meetings or events.
  • Change HVAC filters as needed or required.
  • Perform repairs on furniture or equipment, if possible.
  • Take vehicles as needed for routine maintenance or repair work.
  • Purchasing equipment for facilities, i.e. light bulbs, ceiling tiles, etc.
  • Know and maintain OSHA guidelines for safety of facility and equipment.
  • Transport, dispose of, or relocate office equipment and furniture.
  • Maintain proper storage and inventory of all tools and equipment.
  • Works with Site Managers to determine maintenance needs.
  • Other duties as required.

This position requires compliance with Health Center’s written standards, including its Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures (“Written Standards.  Such compliance will be an element considered as part of the FacilityMaintenance Engineer’s regular performance evaluation.)
